The result of the second examination in hospital with suspected Ebola patient was negative. The information was confirmed by the Minister of Health, Arthur Chioro, on Monday (13), after receiving the confirmation of negative results, which definitely rule out the presence of the virus.
The minister celebrated the result and reported that the WHO (World Health Organization) is already being reported on the negative diagnosis, but warned that measures to prevent and combat Ebola remain in Brazil.
- We received just the negative result for the second harvested from the patient shows, so we consider the case with a suspected case dismissed. We are already provided communication to WHO and also communicate the state Department of Health of Paraná and the City Department of Health. [...] I want to emphasize that all the measures of prevention, surveillance for Ebola remain in our country.
